Designer and Builder
It all begins with an idea-
Jesse Fisher designs and builds unique, one of a kind, custom furniture that enhance any environment.
Beautiful things for everyday life.
Jesse combines aesthetics with function, carefully considering all details of a piece of furniture. The wood is hand chosen for each piece with each board selected with intention and purpose. The species, color, texture and direction of grain are carefully thought out. The desire for it to enhance the space it will reside in is of the utmost importance.

Jesse’s woodworking began at a young age working along side his grandfather, a master boatbuilder in Victoria British Columbia. He pursued woodworking and shop classes throughout secondary school. After which he took an apprenticeship as a carpenter completing 3 years before switching to Joinery when he attended BCIT in Vancouver. He then applied his apprenticeship making custom doors and windows for a few years. He took part in many exceptional workshops and attended The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. By 1997 he opened his first shop making furniture on Salt Spring Island where he and his wife Erin had three children and spent 18 years. He was active in the woodworkers guild and was featured in many shows on the Island. His pieces are still represented at Gallery 8 on Saltspring. In 2012 He and his family moved to Portland Oregon where He resides. His pieces can be seen currently at the gallery Northwest by Northwest in Cannon Beach, Oregon. He has volunteered at the woodworkers guild in Portland overseeing community projects. His furniture has been featured in magazines and reside in many of the finest homes in the Northwest. Over his 25 plus years he has enjoyed designing and making pieces of beautiful furniture.
